Growing up in South Africa, my father was an old-school carpenter and a perfectionist in a time when everything was done with hand tools, creativity and skill.  He taught me to “do things the right way or not at all”, and to always deliver lasting quality in whatever you do!

I attended trade school and learned many trades, becoming an electrical engineer and an innovator. The first company I founded was ‘Creative Electronics cc’ in South Africa in 1985 that specialized in small scale electronics manufacturing for the mining and security industries.

After 20+ years as a global supply chain consultant working in many geographies and industries I finally returned to my roots and founded creative2design LLC to share my life-long passion for nature and wood craft with others.
